Caroline Treacy

Caroline founded Grey Space in 2001 to provide specialist services to the Aged Care industry. One of her sector passions is the adaptive reuse of character buildings within a Seniors Living context, whilst another the appropriate delivery of home-like facilities for Cognitive Care.

Caroline other roles have included:

• Secretary of ACA (Qld)

• Chair of YWCA (Qld) Property Assets Committee 2011-18, Qld Director 2011-16

• National Facilitator of Architectural Industry Action Committee 2011

• Qld Architecture Registration Examiner

Caroline's awards include:

• Q400 in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010

• BRW Fast 100 in 2009 & 2008

• QBR Women in Business & Construction Award 2008

• 100 Australian Smartcompany Top Female Entrepreneurs in 2010 & 2011.

Lee Polmear

As a Senior Architect Lee focuses on collaboration with clients and consultant teams to deliver holistic design solutions.

He contributes his expertise to Grey Space projects through a professional skill-set gained from extensive academic studies and industry experience.

Lee’s project experience has been in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on master planned aged care and residential aged care communities, retirement living, and commercial projects. It’s this experience that drives Lee’s desire to bring a client’s vision to life and allows him to provide exceptional solutions to all projects no matter the scope or complexity.

Lee is a registered Architect with qualifications in Master and Urban Planning.

Calvin Treacy

Calvin provides deep commercial expertise with over 20 years senior management experience in mining, technology and manufacturing.  He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of strategic planning, capital raising and growing companies.

Calvin is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a Masters of Business Administration and has worked in a range of roles including Sales, COO, CEO and  Director.

James Bowell-Harris

James has over 20 years documentation and IT management experience in Architectural firms. 

James' deep understanding of available technologies and the future direction of these technologies keeps Grey Space at the forefront of efficient documentation delivery.

James is an expert in the use and environment magement of Revit, Lumion, and Archicad. He is also champion of BIM and other collaboration tools.    

Dr Sara Alidoust

Sara is a performance-driven Architectural and Urban Planner who sought out a position with Grey Space due to her passion for aged care and retirement.

Sara' Qualifications include:

• PhD in Urban and Environmental Planning

• Master of Architecture

• Bachelor of Architectural Engineering

Sara has excellent knowledge of Aged Care and Community Design. Her PhD topic was devoted to developing age-friendly environments which accommodate the changing needs of people as they age.

Robert Gladwell

Robert has a Diploma of Building Design & Construction and is currently studying a Bachelor of Design majoring in Architecture with a second major in Construction Experience.

Robert is an expert in the use of Lumion for 3D modelling and a Revit for documentation.  Robert also has a keen interest in BIM.
